Check out this thread on school shootings over the past 200 years and wonder where things went wrong
· May 26, 2022 · NottheBee.com

There's a ton to unpack here. Let's start with the thread:

If you didn't know, gun clubs and shooting classes were pretty normal at most high schools until the last 50 years or so.

According to the website he links, the first school shooting was in 1794, when four Lenape tribe members entered a schoolhouse near Greencastle, Pennsylvania and shot the schoolmaster and 10 kids in the Pontiac's Rebellion school massacre.

But between 1800 and 1960, nearly every shooting (there were some bombings and fires that should be noted) was one person getting angry at another person – you know, as people do.

Some of us warned about the long-term effects of shutting down society over Covid.

Look at that: A jump from 30 shootings in 2017-2019 to 60+ in 2021???

So what went wrong? What led us to this place?

The thread writer shared this similar thread:

We have a lot to ponder and pray about.
